Lisbon is a special city, full of history and traditions. In this tour you will be able to know important monuments that marked the voyages of Portuguese navigators in search of new discoveries. The famous Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries and the National Coach Museum are located in Belém. Next, the Alfama district, one of the oldest and most typical of Lisbon.

Listed on UNESCO’s World Heritage and one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal , the Jerónimos Monastery began to be built in 1501 and finished one century later. Many secrets will be revealed in your visit to this masterpiece of architectural history, the Manueline style, unique in Portugal.

The Monument of the Discoveries (Padrão dos Descobrimentos) designed in the form of a Caravel tip. The large circle drawn on the ground is called Rosa dos Ventos (Wind Rose), which indicates where Portuguese navigators have been. Come find out which ones.

It has the most important collection in the world, of carriages and coaches from the 16th to the 19th century.

Visiting Lisbon and not seeing the Tower of Belém is the same as going to Rome and not seeing the Pope! One of Lisbon’s most acclaimed postcards, it is the setting of unforgettable photos that will surely be remembered for life!

The steep and narrow streets of Alfama, one of the oldest areas in Lisbon, are full of traditional craft shops and cafés. The view from Graça belvedere extend over the city and the river Tagus. At night, you can hear the melancholic Fado in some of the neighbourhood restaurants.

Also known as Dom Pedro IV Square, it is a traditional meeting point for Lisboners and foreigners.
