Departure from the Hotel in Porto at 09:00 am to the city of Aveiro, known as the Venice of Portugal. It is a differentiated city where the modern and the old combine very well. Visit the historic center and cruise the city’s canals on the famous moliceiro boats. Then, visit Costa Nova with the famous typical fishermen’s houses, colored in vertical stripes. Return to the hotel.

Duration: 4 hours

It is a city nearby the Ria de Aveiro, known as the Portuguese Venice. The city canals are navigated by colorful boats know as moliceiros.

While in Venice the gondolas transport tourists, in Aveiro it is the Moliceiros or Mercantel boats that do it. These vessels were originally used to harvest algae.

A typical pastry from Aveiro, this conventual sweet is very much appreciated by the Portuguese and tourists who visit the city and are enchanted by these small egg pearls.

The Costa Nova do Prado beach, also known only as Costa Nova, is located on the western coast of Portugal. It is made up of colorful striped houses that stand out, in a run of houses in front of the Ria de Aveiro.
