Faith and overcoming on the way to Santiago

Departure at 8:00 am from the Hotel in Porto to Santiago de Compostela, following one of the routes of the famous pilgrim paths that lead to Santiago de Compostela. On arrival a walking tour through the historic area of the city that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its narrow streets, where you can visit the Praça do Obradoiro and the famous Santiago Cathedral. Stop for lunch. Returning to Portugal with a stop in Valença do Minho
fortress, that was used to protect from the Spanish attacks. Return to
the hotel.

Duration: 10 hours

On the way to Santiago de Compostela, crossing the bridge built under the estuary of the river that bathes Vigo and shows several mussel ponds.

It is the main and most famous square in Santiago de Compostela, the end point for pilgrims who make the way to Santiago.

Location of the Santiago Maior apostle tomb, patron and holy protector of Spain, which made it the main destination of Christian pilgrimage in Europe after Rome during the Middle Ages, through the so called Way of St. James

All pilgrims want to reach their destination and be blessed. Nothing better than embracing Santiago to conclude another great stage.
